Hello! Here’s a quick and easy tutorial for making your own cropped tops or fringe tees. I wore one of my cropped tops last week, as seen here. It’s a great layering piece and perfect for some summer fun!
The closer to the sleeve seam, the wider the neck and the more it will fall off your shoulder.
You can cut the slits as high as you’d like, depending on the level of coverage you desire.
For making a crop top, lay the shirt flat with the side seams on top of one another. The front cut should be a gradual angle and then plateau so your line doesn’t come to a point. I would recommend trying on the shirt and marking to insure it’s not too short for your comfort…you can always go shorter if desired. Cut the back to flow from the angle cut on the front of the shirt.
To get the full effects of the fringe tee, you must move…twist, twirl and shake! Seriously, you won’t regret it.
